We support both 1024-bit and 2048-bit DKIM keys. We recommend 2048-bit keys for maximum security. Our platform handles the DNS record splitting required for longer keys automatically.
How does automatic key rotation work?
When a rotation is triggered, we generate a new key pair, publish the new public key alongside the old one, wait for DNS propagation, then instruct your email service to start signing with the new key. After an overlap period, the old key is retired. The entire process is zero-downtime.
